As August comes to an end, a cool breeze tends to follow. However, this doesn’t mean you should pack away all your summer pieces just yet. With a few styling tips you can take your favorite summer pieces and transition them into fall.
This time of year is that awkward phase where a lot of us aren’t sure how we should dress. You wake up in the morning, it’s freezing and by mid afternoon it’s sweltering. I like to call this time of year bipolar. If you’ve ever been through this dilemma keep reading!

Since the weather is awkwardly in between temps, you can still pull this look off. Olivia Palermo rocks this street style perfectly. She even ties another dress shirt around her waist to give you that layered fall look.
Cullotes
Cullotes are perfect for transitioning from summer to fall. They are breezy and keep you cool for the warm afternoon but they are warm enough to wear in the mornings. If you wear it with a dark color top, like Jules of Sincerely Jules, it will seem less summery!
Light Weight Jackets
This lightweight jacket is the perfect piece to transition from summer to fall. You can throw it on in the morning on your way to work or wear it on a night out over a dress or a romper. Carmen Hamilton of The Chronicles of Her is rocking this perfectly. White jeans is summery but wearing a jacket over top transitions the look into fall.
