Tech Thursdays: The SOOT Electropack

By Francesca Castor on September 26, 2013

If you’re a frequent traveller, you might want to invest in one of these. The SOOT Electropack is pretty much the dream bag for those who travel, particularly backpackers.

Made from premium ballistic nylon and ultra-high grade marine vinyl, the bags each pack a hefty 10 000 mAh battery, which is about a week or two’s worth of self-sufficient power. Coming in three sizes, the Mini Messenger, the Commuter, and the Carry-On, the SOOT Electropack is catered to different types of travellers.

The Mini Messenger is a 10-liter pack, which can connect to two different devices to charge at a time.  It also comes with an integrated protective iPad sleeve. The Commuter is a 24-liter pack that can also charge up to two different devices and comes with a protective laptop sleeve. Once combined, it becomes the 34-liter Carry-On, which can charge up to four different devices.

The SOOT Electropack is ideal for those who like to backpack during the warmer months or even those who just can’t get enough of technology on camping trips. Whether you’re a backpacker or not, the SOOT Electropack is something to consider if you frequently travel and constantly need to charge up your devices. Check out the campaign on Kickstarter.
