Ever wondered how a Gucci product is made? The Gucci Artisan Corner is a retail workshop that tours the world throughout the year, showcasing the craftsmanship and care that is put into all of Gucci’s leather products. And this weekend, Artisan Corner is stopping at New York City.
The workshop is making a stop at Bloomingdale’s 59th Street store from June 6 to 9, and will focus on women’s accessories, handbags and scarves. Clients will have the opportunity to get an inside look on how these artisans create the handbags, monogram the leather and personalize the silk scarves.
Watch while seven artisans at the workshop assemble, stitch, and emboss some of Gucci’s most iconic bags right before your eyes. The handbags (which include: New Bamboo, Soft Stirrup and Soho) will even have plaques with details of the event included inside.
So if you happen to be in NYC this weekend, head on over to Bloomingdale’s and let us know what you think!
