Control Your Devices With Your Wrist

By Alessia Mocella on June 19, 2013

Even though this gadget seems like a nifty toy for boys, it sure makes a cute accessory for girls too. MYO is an armband, which reacts to the motions made by your arm muscles to control your everyday devices and makes you look cool as you do it.

Stephen Lake, CEO of Thalmic Labs, explains that MYO recognizes the electrical impulses in your muscles to control devices with Bluetooth, through simple hand gestures. The one-size-fits-all device is made to feel light and comfortable; the company is in contact with other developers to customize the product. Another amazing fact, according to Bro Bible, MYO is on the market for as little as $149.

In essence, MYO allows you to have even easier access to your devices. This could be useful for some, especially those with disabilities, but could increase laziness in others. We’re not judging. We just want to know, does it come in pink? Click below to watch what you could be capable of with MYO on-hand.
