FASHIONOTES Closet: Runway-Ready Headphones

By Jaclyn Hendricks on March 25, 2013

Headphones come in a variety, whether in the form of typical earbuds or attached to helmets. Having transformed over the years, it seems that headphones and the fashion world are about to collide.

From Molami comes three unique sets of headphones that aren’t just equipped for listening to tunes on the go, but are ready to take the runway. Molani headphones recently took part of the Swergie world tour during Berlin Fashion Week. Crafted by industrial designer Maria von Euler, these contemporary pieces are true fashion firsts.

Molami Bight
Molami Twine
Molami Pleat

The first design, Bight is small and fits comfortably in the user’s ear. Additionally, it comes in four different types of shades ranging from stingray black & silver to a chic black on black. The second, Twine is more of a headscarf as the silk-satin and chiffon fabric wraps around one’s head, virtually disguising the headphones. And, like the Bight design, Twine is also available in four different color options. The third and final design, Pleat is shaped as a headset, framing the face in a complimentary way.
