GQ is teaming up with MR PORTER for its innovating idea of the next GQ Selects program. From the beginning of April, and for seven consecutive months after, a selection of items on the pages of GQ will be branded for sale on MR PORTER. The multi-channel initiative will be on the pages of GQ.com and the luxury e-tailer, which includes a promotional page in the print magazine, directing shoppers (mostly male) to the website. GQ had previous partnerships with Nordstrom and the now-defunct Park & Bond.

“The people at MR PORTER create their own editorial and are big on service, which is what we love at GQ, so the DNAs are very compatible,” quotes Jim Moore, creative director of GQ.
MR PORTER editor-in-chief Jeremy Langmead, with help from two editorial teams, will primarily select what will be showcased on GQ Selects. GQ will feature between 10 and 20 items each month, as well with social media and videos enriching the style content and online shopping experience.
