On February 3, 2013, Donna Karan hosted a private screening for her short film, Haven’t We Met Before? directed by Anjelica Huston, starring Felicity Jones and Jack Davenport. The film was commissioned by Donna Karan to honor and embrace the power of a woman’s legs, in celebration of the recent Donna Karan Hosiery Evolution Collection launch.

With the cast in full DKNY dress, the film is celebrating the allure and mystery towards the femininity of female legs. It commemorates the launch of Donna Karan Evolution, which is a technological breakthrough in hosiery that acts as “a day spa for your legs.”

The film is based on a man and a woman (Jack Davenport and Felicity Jones, respectively) who are engulfed by the playfulness and the details of seduction. Every single moment between them whether it be a touch, a gaze, a breath, becomes a moment to savor. It focuses on Jones’ quiet excitement in preparing for her night ahead, taking care to apply her lipstick, hosiery, and fragrance. It’s a playful short-feature that leaves the viewer questioning whether or not the night was a beautiful memory or a daring fantasy.
