The Louis Vuitton Internet Trunk Show Sheds Light on Brand’s History

Louis Vuitton presents its most prestigious, custom-order, steamer trunk through a visually appealing animated video titled Retracing The Trunk. As the title suggests, this video embodies the French label’s history of its trunks. This short and dynamic film by French creative studio Les Courtisans takes us through the different trunk designs that this luxury brand unveiled throughout the years.

Louis Vuitton used a creative element to showcase its luxury product line. Implementing light installation as a medium certainly charms the consumers and reminds us of the classic elements the brand displays. We aren’t surprised that the brand used digital media to market this product. After all, Louis Vuitton was among the first luxury brands to test the social media market, using Facebook to live-stream one of its fashion shows.
