For those of us still going through Sex and the City withdrawal, good news! Carrie Bradshaw is back in our lives with the new, stylish series The Carrie Diaries.
Set in the 1980′s, The Carrie Diaries brings to life the fashionable teenage years of the female icon Carrie Bradshaw. Notoriously brought to life first by the infamous Sarah Jessica Parker, AnnaSophia Robb now steps into the Manolo shoes of the character. Starting with Bradshaw’s introduction to the New York jungle, the show boasts a fashion wardrobe as-big-as the Big Apple itself. Jealous, anyone?
Naturally, with the show set in the 80′s, we are having a difficult time envisioning the old-school wardrobe that Bradshaw would wear. Shoulder pads, parachute pants and AquaNet hairspray seem so out of Carrie Bradshaw’s league! Thankfully, social media has gathered the fans together with a direct goal – how to emulate Carrie Bradshaw’s iconic style!
