Singing sensation Rihanna is unveiling her River Island Collection with a runway show during London Fashion Week. Rihanna’s first, exclusive clothing line will launch, by an invite-only event, Saturday February 16, 2013.
“Launching at London Fashion Week is a dream come true for me,” quotes Rihanna. ” I have wanted to design my own collection for a long time and to present my collection for River Island alongside all of the other great design talent at LFW is a real privilege. I can’t wait to see the reaction from my fans and the fashion press!”
Rihanna’s collaboration with the brand is set to reach international River Island retail locations and online stores for Tuesday March 5, 2013. The collection will be stocked at Opening Ceremony in both the U.S. and Japan.
“We are very excited to present our Rihanna for River Island collection at London Fashion Week,” said Ben Lewis, River Island’s chief executive. “This is the perfect platform to showcase Rihanna’s design talent and ambition.”
It looks like Rihanna will have her hands full with quite the projects this year. The star was also reported to be hosting Styled to Rock on the Style Network this season. Rihanna never fails to impress her fans, branching out from her successful entertainment career and into the fashion world. Her collection is one to look out for, as her taste in style is one of a kind.
