This Music Monday we decided to take the alliteration route - Motown melodies to motivate many.

Named for its birth city of Detroit (aka Motortown), the “Motown Sound” is a catchy mixture of pop and soul. Berry Gordy transformed the soulful sounds into a way of life, creating Motown Records in 1959. Gordy signed many talented artists and grew the Motown culture into the nostalgic gem it is today. Here are 8tracks of the soulful yet poppy genre sure to make you twist and groove in your seat.
