This week, TopShop launched it’s holiday campaign, with a secretive viral-video based on the iconic eighties movie, The Fabulous Baker Boys.
To build up the release of the full film, TopShop will release ‘teasers’ for the next five days, hinting at the celebrity face representing the brand this holiday season. Helmed by a famous Hollywood director and called Winter Wonderland, the teasers showcase a pretty blonde female, in a dazzling sequinned burgundy dress.
Teasing the launch with the hashtag #WhosThatGirl, TopShop is encouraging viewers and fans to send in their guesses as to who the mystery female is. Look out for little teasers, videos, and behind the scene images, all hinting towards the mystery female. At the end, prizes in the form of shopping sprees will be awarded to those who guess correctly. What a perfect way to launch a holiday campaign!
With the video set to be released on December 4, 2012, you have a couple days to take in all the hints and relay your guesses online through Twitter and Facebook.
