Toronto hosted #StyleCastingTIFF on Saturday night, bringing excitement, entertainment and digital art to its guests. One of the featured artists was designer Angella Mackey. Mackey creates a product called Vega that has a signature illumination feature, designed to help cyclists and citizens stay safer in the city. At night built-in lights glow allowing you to be scene. Not only are these products designed for safety, but they are very fashionable. Mackey balances her garments based on function and fashion.

It is the philosophy of Mackey that:
“Outerwear is our current playground, and illumination is our muse.”
Mackey is a Canadian based artist, but currently lives in Gothenburg, Sweden where shes finds the inspiration for her designs. The illumination for all garments is found in the pockets, hoods and collars, inspired by the styles from both past and present. All of Mackeys apparel is made with fine wool and linen, using only the latest technology. Now when you are out in the city at night, Vega will allow you to look radiant.
