It appears that Barneys is taking a more comedic turn when it comes to its advertising, and we’re all for it! In this hilarious clip, the retailers Creative Ambassador, Simon Doonan and The Man Repeller (aka Leandra Medine) are locked in Barneys for the night and take to the shoe department to pass their time.
According to Simon, they can do anything they want now that they’re locked in Barneys (and we only wish we had gotten the invite). After downing a couple cocktails the two dive into designer shoes like they’re candy, from Manolo Blahnik’s to Tabitha Simmons and of course Christian Louboutin. They’re basically in retail heaven – which is no doubt the main message behind the film, which will surely entice customers to head straight to the nearest Barney’s to snag some new stilletos.
