This week’s featured member is a 21-year-old Peruvian living in New York, who is currently studying Fashion Merchandising. FASHIONOTES catched up with Lua P to discuss her personal style and inspiration, her blog, and her favorite LOOKBOOK.nu members.
Q: What is one item of clothing that you cannot live without?
Lua: My creepers! they go with almost all my wardrobe and they add something different to the most simple looks. I also love them because they are super comfortable.
Q: How would you describe your personal style?
Lua: I have a very eclectic style and it changes a lot. I always try to mix the elements I love the most from the styles I like. I get inspiration from everything, especially movies from the 80′s and 90′s. I usually mix 90′s garments with bohemian acessories and gothic element’s. Since I am from Peru, I also love artisan hand made garment’s and accessories which add a hippie vibe to my look.
Q: Who are your favorite fellow LOOKBOOK.nu members?
Lua: I love a lot of LOOKBOOK members! My latest favorite looks are from Kayla H., Cosette M., Juliett K., Violet E., Madeline P. and Vintage Virgin.
Q: Do you also blog?
Lua: Yes! I have a personal blog where I share most of my day to day outfits, inspiration and some DIY ideas!
Q: Who are some of your fashion icons?
Lua: Brigitte Bardot is my favorite person ever!
