Yes, you did read that title right. Yves Saint Laurent (or should we say Saint Laurent) is set to launch an exclusive eyeshadow palette inspired by none other than Facebook! It’s by no means unusual for luxury fashion labels to use the most abstract of things for inspiration behind a line but we were definitely caught off guard when we heard about YSL using the social media platform for their creative edge. Of course, we’re all for it, and are nothing less than pleasantly surprised by this random take on digital fashion. I guess you could say we ‘like’ the idea.
The ‘Devoted to Fans’ palette will be available on the YSL Facebook page (no surprise there) starting on July 19th! Rumor has it that only 1,650 of these were produced so if you want to get your hands on one you’re going to have to act fast! And of course, to even qualify for one of these palettes you’re going to have to be a fan, so liking YSL would be a great start if you haven’t already!
