Meet Ebba Zingmark: a 17-year-old LOOKBOOK.nu phenom. With more than 62 000 followers, her LOOKBOOK.nu page always has gorgeous outfits layered with vintage finds.We recently spoke to Ebba to discuss joining LOOKBOOK.nu, her personal style and where all her inspiration comes from.
Q: How did you get into LookBook.nu and how long have you been a user?
Ebba: Well, I have been using lookbook.nu as a source of inspiration for a long time, and in March 2012 I decided to post one of my own photos. I loved getting responses from other users, so I kept on posting!
Q: How would you describe your personal style?
Ebba: I’m not trying to keep to just one style– I mix them all! I love playing with colors and shapes, creating unexpected combinations. But one thing I always get back to is retro style. Maybe because I wear so much vintage and second hand clothes. I love vintage!
Q: What/who is your style inspiration? Who are some of your fashion icons?
Ebba: I get my inspiration from everywhere. The colour of the sky, old ladies on the bus or even my dogs. So in a way, nature and the people ( and pets, haha) around me are my fashion. And all the people on lookbook.nu of course!
Q: Do you also blog? If so, tell us about it.
Ebba: Yes! My blog is www.ebbazingmark.se. In my blog you’ll find posts with pictures and texts about my personal life, like when I’m having a party with my friends or when I’m hanging in the forest with my dogs. Besides that I’m posting even more outfit pictures, I also have great giveaways now and then!
Q: Who are your favorite fellow LookBook.nu members?
Ebba: That’s an extremely hard question. I think all the users on lookbook are so talented and inspiring! But two users that I love because they always stand out are, Mind The Mustard and Constance Victoria Phillips. But it’s the mix of so many users’ different styles that truly inspires me!
