This week Burberry launched its new multi-channel campaign for it’s beauty line featuring British models Jourdan Dunn, Edie Campbell, and Cara Delevingne! Staying true to it’s traditional roots, all the models are dressed in the classic Burberry trench and wear natural beauty looks!
Although the looks may be classic, the platforms that Burberry is using to launch the campaigns are ever expanding and this particular campaign’s theme is definitely, the more digital the better. With a combination of Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and of course their own website, we think they’ve nailed it.
The website features the full length video for the campaign, behind the scenes images from the shoot, and product listings – though the best part of the whole experience is the sections dedicated to each of the looks sported by the girls. By clicking on either the Cara, Edie, or Jourdan sections, you will see a list of all the beauty products used to create the natural glow. Unsure of how to actually use those products? If you click on the products themselves, the site offers you an impromptu makeup tutorial with a description of what their benefits are and how to apply them.
The campaign and the website is so interactive and visually appealing that you actually want to stay and explore for longer, which is without a doubt the whole purpose of the experience. With that being said, it’s safe to say that this Burberry Beauty campaign is definitely a model that other luxury retailers should take note of.
