How about some red lips to go with those red soles? Designer Christian Louboutin is expanding his empire from fashionable footwear into cosmetics with an upcoming beauty line, Christian Louboutin Beauté.
Partnering with New York-based beauty company Batallure Beauty, the French designer aims to launch the line in late 2013. With Louboutins some of the most coveted stilettos on the planet (J.LO even dedicated a song to them!), the luxe line is sure to be highly anticipated by beauty junkies and style mavens alike.
The brand itself already inspires beauty trends, so the line is natural evolution for the growing luxury brand. Christian Louboutin Beauté will also provide a more accessible way for fans of the designer to have a piece of the brand without breaking the bank.
There’s no word yet on what will be included in the line – lipstick, polish, eye shadow, scents? – but one thing is assumed, there will be that famous shade of red!
