The Prada Spring/Summer 2012 collection brings us back to what American women wore in the 1950s – and also features the classic American car stilettos we’ve been in awe of.Â
Lensed by Steven Meisel, the campaign was beautifully shot by staging Prada’s vivid collection against vintage cars and a retro gas station. Past Prada and Miu Miu models Guinevere Van Seenus, Meghan Collison, Ymre Stiekema and Elise Crombez appear in the shoot alongside two first-time Prada faces, Natasha Poly and Katryn Kruger.
Prada’s campaign is one that we’re definitely looking forward to seeing in upcoming magazines. By the way, we also love that “Kids” by Sleigh Bells is one of the songs from the video, giving these 1950s-inspired bombshells a modern edge.
