The Fall 2012 showcase of Elie Tahari came complete with monochromatic magic. With the recurring use of different shades of jewel toned color Tahari brought new life to simple seperates. Maya Singer for Style.com says, “Real women wear it in their real daily lives”, so it was only fitting that his models consisted of friends, family and staff.
The informal presentation in his showroom emphasized the relaxed and classic beauty of the collection. The looks varied from structured shifts in cobalt blue to color blocked button downs. With color definitely being key, the simple office shapes make the collection highly wearable.
