With his clean, masculine aesthetic, Giorgio Armani has built a name for himself on the construction of amazing suits with timeless appeal. This menswear collection was no different with the application of the same techniques using fabrics like tweed,wide-ribbed corduroy and stretch fabrics like jersey. We saw inspiration, again, from the 1920′s men style, with the appearance of voluminous trousers that tapered at the ankle.
He stayed true to the lean well-fitted jackets we love, and added interest to vests with exaggerated pin tucks. The addition of materials like glazed leather paired with jersey trousers and soft velvet pants with tweed vests  gave the collection a very luxurious feel. Cashmere sweaters emblazoned with prints in blue, red and burnt orange added subtle pops of color throughout the collection.
The knitted cardigans added a lot of bulk  to the male figure, while jersey blazers created the effect of a sloped shoulder and smaller waist.  Even with the use of softer fabrics, Armani stayed true to his design style and love of luxury, while emphasizing comfort and fit. Here are some of our favorite looks.
