NYFW: 3.1 Phillip Lim Spring 2012

By Maddy Aubert on September 15, 2011

Phillip Lim brought minimalism to the runway, with an airy collection taking on more muted colors. The collection is full of basics, that can dress for the office, to a dinner party. With only one bold print, it was refreshing to allow our eyes to take a break from the neons and prints, on prints, on prints. Every look feels comfortable yet sophisticated and with pastels and sorbets, the collection is most definitely modern, and most importantly wearable.

Some of our favorite pieces include angular, oversized vests (especially the denim one), collar-less jackets, all the purples, and the great trousers.
