Our Top 5 Looks from Lollapalooza

By Contributor on August 10, 2011

These musicians really know how to rock it when it comes to festival attire. Even with music festival season coming to a close, these fashionable front women went out with a bang at Chicago’s very own Lollapalooza. Despite the scorching summer sun, music festivals are feeding grounds for the most fashion forward and trend setting style.

Here’s our top 5 stage looks from this year’s Lollapalooza festival:

Lykke Li
An entirely black ensemble seems unreasonable in the heat, but there’s definitely no denying how awesome that shiny cape is. This look is also perfectly accessorized with knee-high boots, thick kohl eyeliner and a black manicure.

Imelda May
This retro rockstar pulls of the pin-up girl look with ease. Her two-toned ponytail and nautical themed outfit are right on target for music festival attire.

Grace Potter
There’s no denying Grace Potter’s star power, along with her ability to pull-off that incredible Stevie Nicks kind of bohemian-glam. Her style is completely rock and roll, whether she’s performing in a fringe dress or backstage in a polka dot blouse.

Ellie Goulding
This British sensation has been performing at some of the best music festivals of the summer, and she never disappoints when it comes to bangin’ stage style. This year, Ellie Goulding came right on trend wearing a cropped tank top and ah-mazing leopard print wedges.

Bebe Rexha
The lead vocalist in Pete Wentz’ band, Black Cards, gave Taylor Momsen a run for her money with this hard-as-nails rockstar ensemble. The laced LBD and studded, finger-less gloves are nothing compared to that adorable hippy heart headband – try saying that five times fast.
