Remember Jo Calderone, Lady Gaga’s male alter-ego who first made his appearance last year thanks to photographer Nick Knight for the September issue of Vogue Hommes Japan? Well he’s back on the scene as Lady Gaga’s cover art for her forthcoming single ‘Yoü And I.’
Following in the footsteps of James Franco and Marc Jacobs, Lady Gaga dresses in drag, this time perhaps with a more rugged, scruffier and slightly weathered look for Mr. Calderone, which many suggest resembles a young Bob Dylan with a hint of Prince.
Mother Monster took to her Twitter account posting the latest images of Calderone and the first peek of her ‘Yoü and I’ single cover, tweeting “You will never find what you are looking for in love, if you don’t love yourself.”
An earlier tweet by Lady G indicates that the Music Video for ‘Yoü And I’ will be her 1000th tweet– 8 more to go folks.
