There’s nothing like a thoughtfully stocked private bevy bar when on vacation. These days many hotels have now up-ed their game when it comes to in-room refrigerators.
Get a load of Zetter Townhouse, a 13-room converted Georgian town house in London’s Clerkenwell District that offers an ingenious innovation for guests: minibars stocked with five house-made, pre-mixed classic cocktails and bitters in cutesy glass bottles. Each bottle is stamped with a Alice in Wonderland styled tag instructing guests to call the lobby to request a bar kit packed to perfection with a mixing glass, spoon, strainer, full complement of meticulously prepared garnishes, two chilled coupes and ice cubes. Talk about a mini-bar! Oh, and in case that’s not enough, you can always head to the the lobby bar where mixologist, Tony Conigliaro, whips up concoctions forged in his team’s Drink Factory mimicking a scientist’s lab complete with beakers, pot stills and centrifuges. Customer service at it’s finest!
