Diane by Diane von Furstenberg is the designer’s first new fragrance to be launched in eight years, and it looks like its just the beginning of what executives view as an entire beauty house of DVF.
It has been noted that one of Von Furstenberg’s long-standing desires has been to work on a fragrance with Chantal Roos and with the launch of her new woody, floral and green accented perfume set to launch this fall, it looks like her dreams have come true.
Roose, an industry veteran with extensive knowledge in both fragrance and cosmetics, has stated that the new fragrance Diane is “just the first stage” and that other projects are in the works, including at least one more fragrance. Makeup and skin care are said to be in contemplation, and with the new fragrance’s first-year target of $30 million to $40 million in retail sales we’re hoping a full beauty line is on its way!
