Good for Amy Wescott!  As a professional costume designer, I feel her work on the film was vastly superior to the overrated contributions of Rodarte.  Using contemporary clothes, she said a lot about the characters and their development.  The “Ballet Costumes” were as dreadful as the rest of the movie– anyone who has ever designed for a ballet would know more about the way dance costumes need to move, be cut, etc.  These feathered excrescenses did nothing but distract (though with a script this bad, perhaps some distraction was called for).  The people behind this movie seem to be ethically challenged– trying to force their collaborators to keep quiet in order to garner publicity and awards for less-talented but higher profile participants.  I say, good for Sarah Lane and good for Amy Wescott.
